Define Fixed Column Widths

This screen is used to define column widths used to export data to an external text file, and is part of the Text Wizard. See Text Wizard Overview

This screen is only displayed if the Fixed Width option is selected on the Define General Import or Export Settings screen.

Activity Steps

  1. Choose the Default Column Width in characters. All exported attribute columns will be the same width.

  2. Define Columns of equal width.
    1. Enter a column index. This must be a numeric value.

    2. Click Add.

      The column list is appended. If required, ascending numeric order will be applied.

  3. To remove a column:
    1. Select the column index.
    2. Click Remove.
    3. Alternatively, to remove all columns, click Clear All.
  4. Click Next to proceed to Configure Export Attributes.
